Summer Creative Workshop by Davinia is back again in a friendly and safe environment, supervised by professional adults, and responsible helpers who strive to foster personal growth for children by providing them with fun, safe educational/recreational programs, once-a-week outdoor experiences and group activities, while away from home for a few hours daily during the summer holidays. Students attending experience involves making new friends and offering kids opportunities to practice the skills needed to build and maintain relationships. Unlike school where academic outcomes drive most of their daily activities, the workshop develops their ability to work as a team, create friendships over a short period, building and maintain relationships to understand and appreciate differences among people.. In a highly connected and stressful world, there has been an increased interest in being more authentically engaged. If you are a parent looking to help your kid put down their phone, reduce their screen time, and worry less about “likes” on social media, then the old idea of this workshop seems like a custom-built solution. Summer Creative Workshop, allows kids to play in non-virtual worlds and interact with friends, face-to-face rather than through a device. And most importantly, kids get to be kids – and that might be the most compelling reason why workshop still matters. Students will be in small groups according to their age bracket.
